Hi, my name is Michiru Kusaka, my friends call me "Mitch" for short. Born in Japan, married and living in South Louisiana (New Iberia) since 2007. I started as a profeshonal artist in 2008 with my husband's passionate support and the belief that I had hidden talent.
The Crazy Cat is my signiture piece, with her bright colors and Big Smile representing HOPE, FAITH, PEACE, JOY and LOVE.
You can also find my work painted on beautiful Sinker Cypress wood from the Atchafalaya area, called Louisiana Wildlife Series.
Honestly, I am self-taught artist as most of artists are. I have done many commissioned work and portraits during the past years to find who I was as an artist. Being from different country and imperfect English I speak. I display my thoughts and feelings on canvas. I hope you enjoy collection of my arts. Thank you for your visit to my website Paintings by Kusaka....
Please EVERYONE friend me on facebook at Michiru Kusaka. See you there..
